What's Going on in Lakewood Ranch? Partnership to build 600 homes

According to the Herald Tribune, written by Josh Salman

"The joint development venture and clubhouse expansion plans have been fanned by a sharp increase in home sales in Lakewood Ranch this year.

Builders in the master-planned community, which straddles Sarasota and Manatee counties, have sold 418 new houses though early September, a 5.3 percent increase from 2012. The average price for those homes has jumped 8 percent -- or about $30,000." read the rest of the story: Partnership to build 600 homes | New window opens

There are practice facilities, a clubhouse replete with dining lounges and card rooms, a pro shop, locker rooms and cart storage. The Athletic Center's fitness center not only has state-of-the-art equipment, but heated pools and 18-lighted tennis courts ideal for great workouts; the steam, sauna, whirlpool and court side deli are perfect for the relaxation that's earned for after.
